(b) From the GUI’s changeover menu (see
paragraph 3.6.13), set the Fan PS
Standby option to Y (yes).
(c) Pull plug P64 from CN1 of fan power
supply A (U13). A fan supply
changeover from fan supply A to B will
occur. Only the system diagram
Changeover alarm will turn on. The
remote interface PWB’s CHGOV
ALARM output (TB1-8) will be an
alarm condition (current-sink-to-
ground).
(d) Reconnect plug P64. In the GUI’s
changeover menu, set fan PS B as the
main fan PS (see 3.6.13). The alarm
should clear. The Changeover alarm
on the system diagram will turn off, and
the remote interface PWB’s CHGOV
ALARM output (TB1-8) will be a non-
alarm condition (open-collector).
(e) Pull plug P65 from CN1 of fan power
supply B (U14). A fan supply
changeover from fan supply B to A will
occur. Only the system diagram
Changeover alarm will turn on. The
remote interface PWB’s CHGOV
ALARM output (TB1-8) will be an
alarm condition (current-sink-to-
ground).
(f) Reconnect plug P65. In the GUI’s
changeover menu, set fan PS A as the
main fan PS (see 3.6.13). The
Changeover alarm on the system
diagram will turn off, and the remote
interface PWB’s CHGOV ALARM
output (TB1-8) will be a non-alarm
condition (open-collector).
4.3.7 Improving Reject Load Power
If the reject load power levels on the
diagnostic display exceed 100 W
(assuming low SWR), try to reduce the
reject load power by swapping RF power
modules as shown in Table 4-1. See 5.9
for RF power module replacement
procedure.
Table 4-1: Improving Reject Load Power
Using the column for the out of tolerance (greater than 100 W) parameter, interchange the
RF power modules as recommended, one step at a time, until the reject load power is less
than 100 W.
The table displays module position (e.g., swap the module in position A with the module in
position E).
