Extrapolated Position
Figure IV-22 shows the Extrapolated Position window.

Position fix coordinates, date, time, speed and heading are displayed in the window. This solution is
a one second ahead extrapolated position fix from the last position solution. When a position
solution can’t be calculated (e.g. insufficient satellites), the extrapolated solution will be calculated
based on the last position solution coordinates, heading and speed.
Automatic update of displayed data is set by default with update rate of 1 per second. Update rate
can be changed by entering an integer value into Update Rate field. Automatic update can be
switched off by unchecking Auto Update checkbox. When automatic update is switched off, data
can updated by clicking the Single Update button.
