Data accumulation
To accumulate and store data coming from the receiver, follow these steps:
- connect the receiver to any available PC COM-port (remember to set receiver’s port
settings);
- select COM-port the receiver is connected to in the COM PORT groupbox in the
Main Window;
- select protocol in the TRANSMIT TYPE groupbox in the Main Window;
- click the SYNCHRO button in the COM PORT groupbox in the Main Window.
Wait 5 – 20 seconds for STOREGIS to establish a connection with the receiver. Message
Ready is displayed in the titlebar once the connection is successfully established. Receiver ID is
also displayed in the titlebar if it is available. Device not found message will be displayed in the
titlebar if no connection was established.;
- if you know the receiver port baud rate you can set it directly in the COM PORT
group box in the Main Window instead of running synchronization;
- click the filename button in the FILE group box to change the file name;
- check desired checkboxes in the ADD groupbox;
- click the START button in the Main Window. The START button should turn into
the STOP button, byte counter in the FILE group box should be increasing. Accumulation is in
progress.
