In order to INHIBIT a selected alarm for the active processor, enter the
following command:
>ERRMAP event INHIBIT 0 (cr)
To view or retire active alarms on standby processor, enter the following
command:
>DOS S ERRMAP (cr)
The system responds by displaying the current BMC alarm status and
assignments for the standby processor.
Sometimes you will want to view alarms on both processors. To do this, enter
the following command:
>ERRMAP ALARMS (cr)
The system responds with an ERRMAP printout showing the alarm status and
assignments for both processors.
RSERR
RSERR, a maintenance command, clears active device/event alarms after the
condition that caused the alarm is no longer present. Use the ERRMAP
command to verify that the alarms have been cleared.
Examples of command usage
To clear active alarms on the active processor (alarms clear if no fault
condition exists), enter the following command:
>RSERR event (cr)
where: event -two-digit event or device alarm number. Event 00 is used to
clear all asserted alarms.
The system responds by displaying the following message:

RSERR subcommands
Subcommands Description
RSERR event Clears the asserted event or device alarms for the active BMC processor
after the alarm condition is no longer present.
DOS S RSERR event Clears the asserted event or device alarms for the standby BMC
processor after the alarm condition is no longer present.
