CP BOOT ACT
CP BOOT ACT, a maintenance command, allows the user to direct the BMC
to reload the CP on the active processor by sending it the files listed in the file
BOOTCP.
Example of command usage
To load the contents of the BOOTCP file to the active CP, issue the following
command:
>CP BOOT ACT (cr)
The system responds with the following:
CP RESTART
CP RELOAD
CP RESTART
CP ACTIVE
where:
filename - name of the BOOTCP file.
Note: Use this command only when specifically called for as part of
another procedure; maintenance or special.
CP BOOT ADD
CP BOOT ADD, a maintenance command, adds a new file name in the
BOOTCP file.
Example of command usage
To add a new file name to the BOOTCP file, issue the following command:
>CP BOOT ADD filename version (cr)
