filename- six character load file name
version- 1 to 2 digit numeric file version number (range: 1-99; version
0 is not allowed).
The list of file names and version stored in the file BOOTCP is displayed. The
new one should appear at the end of the list.
Note 5: Make a copy of the file names (and versions) for future
reference.
Note 6: Make sure the file name and version entered into the BOOT file
matches a file present on the disk.
CP BOOT DELETE
CP BOOT DELETE, a maintenance command, allows the user to remove the
last file name from the BOOTCP file.
Example of command usage
To remove the last file name from the BOOTCP file, enter the following
command:
>CP BOOT DELETE (cr)
The list of file names and version stored in the file BOOTCP displays minus
the deleted file is displayed.
CP BOOT LIST
CP BOOT LIST, a maintenance command, allows the user to direct the BMC
to display the contents (file names) of the file BOOTCP.
Example of command usage
Use the following command to display the contents (file names) of the files in
BOOTCP:
>CP BOOT LIST (cr)
The system displays the list of file names and version stored in the file
BOOTCP. If the BOOT file is empty, the message displayed by the system is
as follows:
CP BOOT LIST EMPTY
CP BOOT STDBY
CP BOOT STDBY, a maintenance command, allows the user to direct the
BMC to reload the CP on the standby processor by sending it the files listed in
the file BOOTCP.
