6.10.2 Operating Modes
ISO 7816-3 Mode 6.10.2.1
The ISO 7816-3 Interface controller supports activation, cold reset, warm reset and deactivation
sequence by software control. The activation, cold reset, warm reset and deactivation and sequence
are shown as follows.
SC Interface Connection
The SC interface connection is shown in Figure 15.3-1
1. SCn_CLK / UARTn_TXD : SC clock pin (output from MCU)
2. SCn_DAT / UARTn_RXD : SC data pin (bi-directional)
3. SCn_RST: SC reset pin (output from MCU, firmware assigned GPIO)
4. SCn_PWR: SC power pin (output from MCU, firmware assigned GPIO)
5. *: SCn_PWR is used for power control function to turn ON/OFF the power for ISO 7816-3. Do not
use SCn_PWR as the direct power supply for ISO 7816-3.
6. SCn_CD: SC card detect pin (input to MCU, detect card by a card insert mechanism)
