1. Overview of the Equipment
This chapter describes the physical characteristics of the OmniScan MX2, which
features a modular design. To find out which modules are compatible with the
OmniScan MX2, see “Compatibility Tables” on page 125. Each module is also detailed
in the appendices at the end of this manual.
1.1 Front Panel of the OmniScan MX2
The front panel of the OmniScan MX2 (see Figure 1-1 on page 26) contains all the
main controls and indicators. This panel is divided into different areas, which are
explained further in the following sections.
