îš‹ Autotuning Faults
Auto-tuning faults are shown below. When the following faults are detected, the fault is displayed on the digi-
tal operator and the motor coasts to stop. No fault or alarm outputs will be operated.
îš‹ Digital Operator Copy Function Faults
These faults can occur during the digital operator COPY function. When a fault occurs, the fault content is dis-
played on the operator. A fault does not activate the fault relay output or alarm output.

Motor data fault
• There is an error in the data input
for autotuning.
• There is an error in the relationship
between the motor power and the
motor rated current.
• Check the input data.
• Check the Inverter and
motor capacity.
• Check the motor rated cur-
rent setting.

Fault
Alarm
An alarm is detected during autotun-
ing.
• Check the input data.
• Check wiring and the
machine.
• Check the load.
Er - 02
Minor Fault
STOP key input
The STOP key was pressed to cancel
autotuning.

Er - 03
STOP key
Line-to-Line Resistance Fault
• Autotuning was not completed in
the specified time.
• The autotuning result is outside the
parameter setting range.
• Check the input data.
• Check motor wiring.
Er - 04
Resistance
Rated current setting alarm.
Displayed after autotuning is
completed.
The rated current is set too high.
Check the motor rated current
value.

when the Digital Operator was write-pro-
tected (o3-02 = 0).
Set o3-02 to 1 to enable writing parame-
ters into the Digital Operator’s memory.

READ IMPOSSIBLE
The data file read from the Inverter was
of the wrong size indicating corrupted
data.
• Retry the read command.
• Check the Digital Operator’s cable
• Replace the Digital Operator
IFE
READ DATA ERROR
An attempted wring of the Inverter data
to the Digital Operator’s EEPROM
failed.
• A low Inverter voltage has been
detected.
• Retry the read command
• Replace the Digital Operator.
RDE
DATA ERROR
