Configuring IGMP Snooping Querier
To access the IGMP Snooping Querier configuration menu:
1. Click the switch’s Advanced tab, then click the IGMP Snooping tile.
The IGMP Snooping Querier Configuration screen opens.
When enabled, the IGMP snooping querier sends out periodic IGMP
queries that trigger IGMP report messages from the switches that
want to receive IP multicast traffic. IGMP snooping listens to these
IGMP reports to establish appropriate forwarding.
The snooping querier address to be used as source address in
periodic IGMP queries. This address is used when no IP address is
configured on the VLAN on which the query is being sent. The
default entry to allow the switch to use its own IP address is 0.0.0.0.
The IGMP protocol version used in periodic IGMP queries.
