3.5 User Profiles and Factory Settings
The following commands recall and/or store the user profiles and factory settings of the modem:
Command Function
AT&V
The modem outputs three different configuration profiles: the currently active profile "ACTIVE
PROFILE", the stored profile 0 "STORED PROFILE0" and the stored profile 1 "STORED PROFILE1".
They contain the most important settings.
AT&W
AT&W0
With the command AT&W you can save the current settings in profile 0, such that they are recalled
upon the next power up or ATZ.
AT&W is identical with AT&W0.
AT&W1
This command stores the current settings in the second stored profile 1 in case a second
configuration should be saved.
ATZ
ATZ0
Recall profile 0. Same as on power up (DIP4 = OFF).
ATZ1
Recall profile 1.
AT&F
Recall factory settings. You can also use the DIP4 switch (see "
DIP Switches" on page 12).
AT&Y0
Reload profile 0 with power up (default).
AT&Y1
Reload profile 1 with power up.
The factory settings were defined as follows:
• Dial line, asynchronous, AT commands
• Automatic detection of error correction/data compression, transmitting and receiving
buffers active
• Automatic detection of the type of modulation 1200-14400 bps
(V.32bis/V.32/V.22bis/V.22)
• Command echo active, report codes indicate modulation speed
• Function to accept calls automatically = ON
• Flow control (RTS/CTS handshake switched off)
