5.1 Command Tables
List of all available AT commands and their function. The S registers belonging to the
commands are also listed (see "
Register Settings" on page 75). All commands start with the
characters AT, e.g. ATA for the command A.
The only exception to the AT characters at the beginning of each command is
the repetition of a command: \A
The standard settings/the most recommended settings (in cases where it makes sense) are
printed in bold letters in the "description" column.

Pulse dialing
DTMF dialing
Dials the respective numbers, *, #, A, D are possible for DTMF dialing

Dial pause, waiting period according to the setting of the S8 register
Wait for a dial tone, waiting period according to the setting of the S6 register
Wait for silence
Return to command mode after dialing: ...stands for the number to dial

DTMF-alarm mode: do not wait for silence
DTMF-alarm mode: waits for silence (picking up of the telephone) before activating the alarm
mode
Dial the number stored in the directory, n (0-20) stands for short-code dialing number, e.g. ATDS1
dials the number that was stored with AT&Z1

n=0 turn off command echo (normally expected when connected to a PLC)
n=1 turn on command echo, all commands are sent back to the DTE

n=0 automatic adjustment of the transmission mode
(RS232C baud rate is maximum for line transmission speed selection)

n=2 automatic adjustment of the transmission mode
(without limiting function of the RS232C baud rate)
n=3 1200 bps according to V.23

n=5 2400 bps according to V.22bis
