FP Modem-EU Technical Manual
3.9 CLIP Function
c.) Selective Call Mode
A selective call acceptance can be enabled with AT%G3. However, you must define acceptable
calling telephone numbers with AT&Z1= and/or AT&Z2=. With the next ring, the modem
analyzes the calling telephone number, and the call is only accepted if the last numbers match
the &Z1 or &Z2 settings. For example:
• Setup: AT&Z1=123 AT&Z2=4567
• Accepted callers: 0808877123 and 08088774567 and 07788123 and 0077884567
For your information, the function of the ‘ring’ counting register S0 is de-activated with the
AT%G3 command.
