Understanding the Button Functions
1 Power switch
Turns the camera on and off (p.40).
2 Zoom lever
Changes the captured area (p.74).
3 Shutter release button
Focuses the camera on the subject when pressed halfway in Still
Picture Capture Mode (except in s and \ modes).
Takes a still picture when pressed down fully (p.65).
4 C button
Starts and stops movie recording (p.122)
5 Q button
Switches to the Q mode (p.54).
