Updating Using the USB Storage Device
[2] Procedures for Updating
Copy the updater files you wish to use for updating to a USB storage device.
Note:
Format the USB storage device in FAT/FAT32/HFS+.
(For emergency boot, the format must be FAT/FAT32.)
Updating does not start if updater
files are not found.
Connect the control and drive units.

Time for updating: Max. 2 minutes
The percentage display shows the progress
of updating.
If a disc is loaded in the DVD/CD drive,
it will be ejected.

While holding the USB 1 STOP and USB 2 STOP keys of
the drive unit pressed, turn the unit on. (Hold the keys
pressed until the PRO DJ logo on the display disappears.)
When the unit enters Update mode, the USB 1 STOP and
USB 2 STOP keys start flashing rapidly in red.
Updating starts when the USB storage device on which
updater files have been copied is connected to the USB 1
(on the rear) or USB 2 (on the front) connector of the drive
unit.
