Updating Using the CD-ROM
If a disc is loaded in the DVD/CD drive,
it will be ejected.
(Omitted)
After updater files are copied from the CD-ROM,
the disc will be ejected.
Connect the control and drive units.
Copy the updater files you wish to use for updating to a
CD-ROM (CD-R/RW) disc.
While holding the EJECT 1 and EJECT 2 keys of the drive
unit pressed, turn the unit on. (Hold the keys pressed until
the PRO DJ logo on the display disappears.)
When the unit enters Update mode, the EJECT 1 and
EJECT 2 keys start flashing simultaneously in green.
Updating starts when the CD-ROM (CD-R/RW) disc to
which updater files have been copied is loaded in the
DVD/CD 1 or DVD/CD 2 drive unit.
The procedures for updating after this step are the same as
those when using a USB storage device.
