Recovery of the Servo Firmware Program of the Drive Unit
Items to be prepared
Recovery of the servo firmware program of the drive unit cannot be performed in a simple way using a USB storage
device. After recovering the flash memory to a normal state, using the serial download software, perform updating
again. The following items are required for recovery:

A USB connector of the PC can be used if a
USB-RS-232C conversion adaptor is used.
The dedicated USB driver software must be
downloaded from the Web site of RATOC Systems,
Inc.
Connecting

Windows 98, XP, 2000, or Vista must have been
installed on the PC. (Proper operation with the
English and Japanese versions of the above
operating systems has been confirmed.)
