[5] DVD/CD Drive Diagnosis
The DVD/CD drives can be manually operated in steps, which is convenient for confirming the specific status of a drive.
The error rate for DVD/CD can be also measured in this mode.

This mode comprises Player Operation mode and Test Operation mode.
Player Operation Mode
The basic operations of the DVD/CD drives, such as playback, pause, and search, can be manually operated.
The error rate can be also measured.

Player Operation mode
Memo: As this mode is provided for diagnosis of the Traverse mechanism (TM) and servo mechanism, the DJ
playback functions, such as scanning and tempo, are not available in this mode.
When the unit enters Drive Diagnosis mode, Player Operation
mode is selected. By pressing the MT key, Player Operation
mode and Test Operation mode can be selected alternately.
Press the MT key for the DVD/CD drive 1 or 2 for the required
times to select either operation mode.

Note: In order to evaluate the performance of the DVD/CD drive, be sure to use a designated disc that is in
