3. Look through the viewfinder eyepiece. Aim the camera at the collimator infinity tube. Turn the
lens focus ring to infinity. The image you should see is shown in Figure 5-2. The image is
inverted and slanted. If the image shown in Figure 5-2 cannot be seen clearly through the
viewfinder, move the camera. Adjust aiming until a clear images obtained. It may be
necessary to raise the tripod or move it left or right.

4. Move the lens focusing ring away from the infinity stop. Two images should be seen through
the viewfinder eyepiece ( Figure 5-3). Turn the lens focus ring to get perfect image
coincidence. (This may not be the infinity stop position.)
