4. Install the Upper Frame
Important: Use a step stool or ladder if you are
less than 6 feet (185 cm) tall.
A. Place the Upper Frame hooks inside the top of the
Side Rails.
B. Attach the Upper Frame to the Side Rails by
aligning the mounting holes and using
six 2½-inch bolts
twelve washers
six locknuts
Finger tighten each fastener. Start with tightening
the lowest bolts, then move to the top bolts, and
finish with the middle bolts.
Note: Rest the Center Support Pulley Bracket on
the Main Frame while you install the Front Bracket
fasteners in the Upper Frame.
C. Attach the Center Support to the Upper Frame
using
two 1-inch bolts
four washers
two locknuts
Finger tighten.
D. Attach the Center Support to the Main Frame using
two 3-inch bolts
four washers
two locknuts
Finger tighten.
Note: The remaining items in Box 2 are used later in
the assembly process.
