28. Attach the Cables to the
Pec Fly Drums
A. Remove four zinc-plated nuts and two Cables
46004-101 from the box. Note that both Cable
ends are threaded.
B. Pick up one Cable 46004-101 and thread it
through the mounting hole that is closest to the
front of the unit on the double drum side. Secure
the Cable using
one zinc-plated locknut
C. Feed the Cable over the drum to which it is
attached to and under the opposite drum. Thread
the Cable through the Side Mount and secure it
using
one zinc-plated locknut
Important: Do not cross the cables! Ensure each
cable remains on its own linear plane.
D. Thread the other Cable 46004-101 into the
protruding bracket on the single drum side. Secure
it using
one zinc-plated locknut
E. Feed the Cable over the Single Drum and under
the Double Drum. Insert the threaded end of the
Cable into the protruding Bracket on the double
drum assembly. Secure it using
one zinc-plated locknut
Note: The Large Mounting Bracket on the double
drum assembly is reserved for connecting the Pec
Fly Cable 46004-101 to the Weight Stack.
F. Tighten the nuts on the Cable ends until the Cable
is taut along the edge of the drums.
G. Ensure that the Cables are mounted correctly by
grasping a drum and gently rotating it. The other
drum should counter-rotate.
