3.1.3 CAN-WLAN Interface
In operation as a CAN-WLAN Interface, CAN data is transmitted wirelessly to other WLAN-
capable devices such as PCs, smartphones or tablets.
The CAN-WLAN Interface features two operating modes: infrastructure mode and mini access
point mode. In infrastructure mode, data transmission takes place via one or more access
points. In mini access point mode, the CANlink wireless additionally provides a WLAN access
point function.
