CREATING A TEST TRANSMIT-MESSAGE WITH RM CAN-DEVICE MONITOR
1. Identify and make a note of the virtual COM port of the CANview USB in the Device
Manager of the PC.
2. Start RM CAN-Device Monitor on the PC.
INFORMATION
In the standard version of RM CAN-Device Monitor, not all the functions (e.g. EDS
functionality, indicators, and generators) are implemented.
The purchased version of RM CAN-Device Monitor PRO CANopen includes the full scope of
functions.
3. Click T
OOLS in the toolbar.
4. Select the D
EVICE SETTINGS tab.
5. In the B
IT-RATE-CIA field, select the baud rate set in the CANlink wireless.
6. In the F
EEDBACK-MODE field, check the FEEDBACK TRANSMIT MESSAGE box.
