2 Assembly of the System
You can use the supplied tools to assemble the
system.
Use only the supplied stainless steel screws to
attach the different components (e.g. the arms of
the moving mechanism).
All components must be of the same connection
system (M).
2.1 Assembling SCANLIFT,
Positioning Device, Chamber
Cable Holding Device and
Perspex Tank
refer to Figure 7
For the assembly please observe also the infor-
mation given in the SCANLIFT user manual.
Put the SCANLIFT (12) into operation according
to the instructions given in the SCANLIFT user
manual.
Place the positioning device (8) on the
SCANLIFT triangle holder (9). Make sure that its
feet are in the notches of the triangle holder.
Mount the positioning device onto the triangle
holder from below using three M6x16 screws
(10) and washers.
Remove the transportation locks (refer to Fig-
ure 6, (1)).
Place the base plate of the chamber cable hold-
ing device (3) on the positioning device.
Place the Perspex tank (6) on the base plate of
the chamber cable holding device. Pay attention
that the water connection of the Perspex tank (7)
and the water connection of the SCANLIFT (11)
are located on the same side. Otherwise, the
movement areas declared in the technical speci-
fications are not to be reached (limited to hose
length).
Mount the base plate of the chamber cable hold-
ing device and the Perspex tank onto the posi-
tioning device from below using four M6x25
screws (5) and washers.
Place the bracket (1) of the chamber cable hold-
ing device on the base plate of the chamber ca-
ble holding device. Pay attention that the holder
for chamber cables is pointing towards the water
connection side of the Perspex tank.
Mount the bracket of the chamber cable holding
device on the base plate of the chamber cable
holding device using on each side eight M5x10
screws (7). At this fasten the bracket of the
chamber cable holding device on the sliders of
the guides (4).
