4 Installation Check
Before starting the MP3-PL system, please check
the following points carefully:
Are the connectors of the control cable
(T43164/K1) and of the motor cable
(T43164/K2) between TBA CONTROL UNIT and
junction box (T41013.1.100) at the Perspex tank
properly connected on both sides?
Are the motor cables of the moving mechanism
connected to the correct sockets at the junction
box?
Is the interface cable (L178012) between TBA
CONTROL UNIT and COM-Server (L991272)
connected on both sides?
Is the interface cable (L178012) between
MULTIDOS and COM-Server (L991272) con-
nected on both sides?
Is the TBA CONTROL PENDANT connected to
the junction box (or to the control unit)?
Are the detectors connected directly to the
MULTIDOS or via the detector connection box-
es?
Are the following devices connected with the
power cord to the power line?
– TBA CONTROL UNIT
– MULTIDOS
– SCANLIFT
– COM-Server
When the devices, e.g. TBA CONTROL UNIT and
MULTIDOS, have been switched on, you will get
the following indications:
Power LEDs at the TBA CONTROL UNIT and
the COM-Server are illuminated.
The MULTIDOS shows the measuring screen.
