To measure signals with the VLF Loop Antenna:
1. Lift slightly on the end of the loop antenna and slide all the way open for use.
2. On the OSCOR unit, make sure that the “VLF (Loop Antenna)” input is selected.
Notes
- The displayed frequency range in Sweep Mode for the VLF antenna is from 50 kHz to 20 MHz.
To evaluate signals down to 20 kHz, switch to analyze mode.
- The 100 MHz Baseband Upconvert option mixes the signal with a 100 MHz signal for analyzing
baseband (see page 97).
IR (Infrared Light)
The MPP can be used for detecting infrared signals with a 700 – 1100 nm wavelength.
