REFITTING THE TURBOCHARGER OIL
SUPPLY PIPE
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit the turbocharger oil supply pipe.
a Fit without tightening:
-the turbocharger oil supply pipe hollow bolt onto
the cylinder block,
-the turbocharger oil supply pipe hollow bolt to the
turbocharger,
-the turbocharger oil supply pipe bolt.
a Tighten to torque:
-the turbocharger oil supply pipe hollow bolt on
the cylinder block (44 N.m),
-the turbocharger oil supply pipe hollow bolt on
the turbocharger (12 N.m).
a Torque tighten the turbocharger oil supply pipe bolt.
II - FINAL OPERATION
a Refit:
-the intercooler air inlet pipe (see 12B, Turbochar-
ging, Intercooler air inlet pipe: Removal - Refit-
ting, page 12B-41) ,
-the battery tray (see Battery tray: Removal - Re-
fitting) (80A, Battery),
-the battery (see Battery : Removal - Refitting)
(80A, Battery),
-the scoop under the scuttle panel grille (see Scoop
under scuttle panel grille: Removal - Refitting)
(56A, Exterior equipment),
-the scuttle panel grille (see Scuttle panel grille:
Removal - Refitting) (56A, Exterior equipment),
-the windscreen wiper arms (see Windscreen wi-
per arm: Removal - Refitting) (85A, Wiping -
Washing),
-the engine undertray,
-the engine cover.
REMOVING THE TURBOCHARGER OIL
RETURN PIPE
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see Vehicle:
Towing and lifting) (02A, Lifting equipment).
a Remove:
- the engine undertray bolts,
- the engine undertray.
a Remove:
- the bolts (4) from the bracket of the exhaust gases
duct at the outlet of the turbocharger,
- the bracket from the exhaust gases duct at the out-
let of the turbocharger.
