REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see Vehicle:
Towing and lifting) (02A, Lifting equipment).
a Disconnect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Re-
fitting) (80A, Battery).
a Remove the front engine cover.
a Loosen the clip on the throttle valve air inlet pipe.
a Disconnect the air outlet pipe from the air filter unit.
a Remove:
-the air outlet pipe to the air filter unit,
- the gearbox lifting eye (1) ,
- the engine undertray bolts,
- the engine undertray,
a Disconnect the connector (2) from the oil level sen-
sor.
a Move aside the wiring of the oil level sensor.
a Remove:
- the exhaust manifold strut nut (3) from the exhaust
manifold,
- the exhaust manifold strut bolt (4) from the cylinder
block,
Tightening torquesm
starter supply wiring nut 8 N.m
