Accelerometer: Removal - Refitting

REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a Remove the front engine cover.
a Disconnect the battery (see Battery : Removal -
Refitting) (80A, Battery).
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
a
a Disconnect the accelerometer connector (1) .
a Remove the accelerometer using (Emb. 1797).
REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit the accelerometer.
a Torque tighten the accelerometer (20 N.m) using
the (Emb. 1797).
a Connect the accelerometer connector.
II - FINAL OPERATION
a Connect the battery (see Battery : Removal - Refit-
ting) (80A, Battery).
a Connect the diagnostic tool.
a Run command RZ004 Pressure regulation adaptive.
a Start the engine and leave it running for a few minu-
tes whilst depressing the accelerator slightly a few ti-
mes.
a Switch off the engine.
a Using diagnostic tool, check that there are no sto-
red faults; deal with them if necessary.
a Refit the engine cover.
a Apply the after repair procedure using the diagnos-
tic tool :
- connect the diagnostic tool,
- select "Injection computer",
- go to repair mode,
- display the "After repair procedure" for the selected
computer,
- select "Accelerometer" in the "List of components
stored by this computer" section,
-carry out the operations described in the "After re-
pair procedure" section.

Note:
Make sure that the metal tabs on the accelero-
meter connector are unlocked correctly to pre-
vent breaking the connector.
