Timing belt: Removal - Refitting

a Remove:
-the (Mot. 1489),
-the (Mot. 1430).
a Turn the crankshaft two turns clockwise (timing end)
using the old crankshaft accessories pulley bolt and
its spacer until the hole of the camshaft pulley hub is
opposite the hole in the cylinder head.
a Screw tool (Mot. 1489) into the cylinder block.
a Turn the crankshaft clockwise (timing end) smoothly
using the old crankshaft accessories pulley bolt and
its spacer, until the crankshaft comes into contact
with the tool (Mot. 1489).
a Set the camshaft pulley hub using the tool (Mot.
1430).
a If the tool (Mot. 1430) does not engage, repeat the
timing belt refitting operation.
III - FINAL OPERATION
a Refit the right-hand suspended mounting support.
a Refit the lower timing cover by positioning the lower
timing cover tab in the inner cover opening.
a Clip on the lower timing cover.
a Refit the intermediate timing cover.
a Clip on the intermediate timing cover.
a Refit:
- the intermediate timing cover bolt,
- the upper timing cover.
a Clip on the upper timing cover.
a Clip on the lower timing cover.
a Refit:
- the upper timing cover,
- the upper timing cover bolt.
a Clip on the upper timing cover.
