CHECKING
I - PREPARATION OPERATION FOR CHECK
a Remove the front engine cover.
a Disconnect the turbocharger pressure sensor con-
nector (1) .
a Unclip the turbocharger pressure sensor wiring from
the intercooler air outlet pipe at (2) .
a Loosen the clip (3) of the intercooler air outlet pipe
from the damper valve.
a Disconnect the intercooler outlet air pipe from the
damper valve.
a Move the intercooler outlet air pipe slightly away
from the damper valve.

Mot. 1771 Kit for measuring SIEMENS
injector leak rate.
Mot. 1711 Kit for measuring injector leak
rate.

IMPORTANT
To avoid all risk of damage to the systems, apply
the safety and cleanliness instructions and opera-
tion recommendations before carrying out any
repair (see 13B, Diesel injection, Diesel injec-
tion: Precautions for repair, page 13B-1) .
IMPORTANT
Wear leaktight gloves (Nitrile type) for this opera-
tion.
