REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a Disconnect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Re-
fitting) (80A, Battery).
a Remove:
-the engine cover,
-the fuel temperature sensor (see 13B, Diesel in-
jection, Fuel temperature sensor: Removal -
Refitting, page 13B-118) .
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
a
a Disconnect the upper union (1) of the fuel pipe of the
exhaust fuel injector solenoid valve.
a Fit blanking plugs.
a Disconnect the connector (2) of the exhaust fuel in-
jector solenoid valve.
a Remove the bolts (3) of the exhaust fuel injector so-
lenoid valve.

WARNING
To prevent impurities from entering the circuit,
place protective plugs on all fuel circuit compo-
nents exposed to the open air.
