Manual priming pump: Removal - Refitting

a Unclip the manual priming pump from the expansion
bottle at (3) .
a Remove the manual priming pump.
REFITTING
REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED
a Fit the manual priming pump.
a Clip the manual priming pump onto the expansion
bottle.
a Remove the blanking plugs from:
-the openings of the manual priming pump,
-the fuel supply pipe opening at the inlet of the high
pressure pump,
-the fuel supply pipe opening at the outlet of the fuel
filter.
a Connect:
-the fuel supply pipe union at the inlet of the high
pressure pump on the manual priming pump.
-the fuel supply pipe union at the outlet of the fuel fil-
ter on the manual priming pump,
a Prime the fuel circuit using the manual priming
pump.
a Start the engine, then let it run for a few minutes to
check that it has started properly and that there are
no leaks.
