Water pump inlet pipe: Removal - Refitting

REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
a parts always to be replaced: seal between coo-
lant pump inlet pipe and coolant pump (10,06,01,
22).
a parts always to be replaced: refrigerant pipe seal
(30,02,02,52)
a Use SURFACE CLEANER (see Vehicle: Parts
and ingredients for the repairwork) (04B, Consu-
mables - Products) to clean and degrease:
-the housing of the seal on the coolant pump inlet
pipe if it is to be reused,
-the seal housing in the cylinder block.
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit the coolant pump inlet pipe fitted with a new
seal.
a Torque tighten the coolant pump inlet pipe bolt
(25 N.m).
III - FINAL OPERATION
a Refit:
-the coolant-oil heat exchanger (see 10A, Engine
and cylinder block assembly, Exchanger: Re-
moval - Refitting, page 10A-55) ,
-the front bumper (see Front bumper: Removal -
Refitting) (55A, Exterior protection),
-the engine undertray,
-the front section of the front wheel arch liners (see
Front wheel arch liner: Removal - Refitting)
(55A, Exterior protection),
-the front wheels (see Wheel: Removal - Refitting)
(35A, Wheels and tyres),
-the engine cover.
a Fill and bleed the cooling system (see 19A, Coo-
ling, Cooling circuit: Draining - Refilling, page
19A-17) .
Perform the following operations:
-fill and bleed the cooling circuit (see 19A, Cooling,
Cooling circuit: Draining - Refilling, page 19A-
17) ,
-fill the refrigerant circuit (see Coolant circuit Drai-
ning - Refilling) (62A, Air conditioning).
