COOLING
Expansion bottle: Removal - Refitting

a Fit the tool (Ms. 583) on the bottom hose of the ex-
pansion bottle.
a Using the tool (Mot. 1448) or (Mot. 1202-01) or
(Mot. 1202-02), remove the clip (6) from the expan-
sion bottle bottom hose.
a Disconnect the bottom hose from the expansion
bottle.
a Remove the expansion bottle.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Position the expansion bottle.
a Connect the bottom hose to the expansion bottle.
a Using the tool (Mot. 1448) or (Mot. 1202-01) or
(Mot. 1202-02), fit the clip for the expansion bottle
bottom hose.
a Remove the tool (Ms. 583) from the bottom hose of
the expansion bottle.
a Fit the manual priming pump.
a Clip the manual priming pump onto the expansion
bottle.
a Fit the fuel vapour absorber bleed solenoid valve.
a Connect the wiring of the fuel vapour absorber bleed
solenoid valve to the expansion bottle.
II - FINAL OPERATION
a Refit the expansion bottle nut onto the vehicle body.
a Connect the degassing hose to the expansion bottle.
a Using the tool (Mot. 1448) or (Mot. 1202-01) or
(Mot. 1202-02), fit the clip for the expansion bottle
degassing hose.
a Remove the tool (Ms. 583) from the expansion bottle
degassing hose.
a Top up the coolant level in the expansion bottle.
a Refit the expansion bottle cap.
