Expansion chamber: Removal - Refitting

REFITTING
I - OPERATION FOR REFITTING PART
CONCERNED
a Refit the expansion chamber using a component
jack.
a Fit new after-sales sleeves (see 19B, Exhaust, Ex-
haust: Precautions for repair, page 19B-12) .
a Refit:
-the expansion chamber bolt,
-the exhaust silencer bolt.
II - FINAL OPERATION
a Check:
-that all the exhaust pipe heat shields are in place
and properly attached.
-that there is no contact with the underbody,
-that there are no leaks.
IMPORTANT
Position the « nut and bolt securing the sleeve »
assembly so that the assembly cannot come into
contact with the underbody.
