Heated Glass Insert Frame
Do not place the Petri dish over the frame of the Heated Glass
Insert as this area is not heated (page 19).

Where an ITO Heated Glass Insert is used in conjuncon with a RI
Saturn 3, Saturn 5 or equivalent laser ablaon system, do not re
the laser with the microscope focussed on the ITO glass surface,
as this may damage the ITO coang.
The Heated Glass Insert is fragile and should be handled with
care. Do not apply excessive force to the glass surface.
The following sketch shows the locaon of the frame of the Heated Glass
Insert (the black area).
The Heated Glass Insert is secured in posion using magnets. The insert
can be removed by pushing gently from beneath. When lowering the
insert into posion ensure that the insert is rotated unl the magnets
re-aach the insert securely.
