transmission failed.
• PC not operating correctly.
• SMTP server operating incorrectly
• Network not operating correctly.

Failed (5XX)
Failed to access the SMTP server because the
transmission failed.
• SMTP server operating incorrectly

Authorization Failed for
Sending to SMTP Server
• POP-Before-SMTP or SMTP authorization failed.
• Incorrect setting for file transfer
14-10 Addresses Exceeded
Number of broadcast addresses exceeded the limit
for the SMTP server.
14-11 Buffer Full
The send buffer is full so the transmission could not
be completed. Buffer is full due to using Scan-to-
Email while the buffer is being used send mail at the
same time.
14-12 Data Size Too Large
Transmission was cancelled because the detected
size of the file was too large.
14-13 Send Cancelled
Processing is interrupted because the user pressed
Stop.
14-30 MCS File Creation Failed Failed to create the MCS file because:
• The number of files created with other
applications on the Document Server has
exceeded the limit.
• HDD is full or not operating correctly.
• Software error.
14-31 UFS File Creation Failed UFS file could not be created:
• Not enough space in UFS area to handle both
Scan-to-Email and IFAX transmission.
• HDD full or not operating correctly.
• Software error.

due to a software error.

Neither the mail address of the machine nor the mail
