collecting coil drive, the sensing disk
connected with the coil drive does not
turn the cleaning coil sensor on and
off at a certain interval. the cleaning
sensor’s ON/OFF count is 17 or less
for 5 seconds, and this continues for
15 seconds.

coil drive due to toner block.
Otherwise, the vinyl sheet on the
toner cartridge shutter maybe was not
pulled off properly at the cartridge
replacement, and some amount of
new toner remains in the cartridge. In
this case, used toner cannot be
charged in the cartridge sufficiently
and this causes coil drive overload.
SC22 Toner density sensor error The difference in the toner density
sensor output levels between before
and after the toner quick supply mode
(continues for 2 minutes) is 0.12 volts
or less.
Defective toner density sensor or
toner density control board.
SC23 Paper on the development unit Paper comes between the OPC belt
and development unit.
After a paper jam occurs and the front
door is opened, the ID sensor
measures the OPC surface (V SG
measurement). The ID sensor
measures the OPC surface again
after closing the front door (the jam is
cleared). SC #23 will be displayed if
paper comes on the ID sensor and
there is 0.5 volts or more difference in
the ID sensor measurement between
before and after closing the front door.
At that time, the measured ID sensor
output (VSG) must be 4.0 volts or
more. This is to prevent mis-detection
due to operation error for the normal
ID sensor control.
When an operator opens the front
door and releases the transport unit
(TS/ corona unit) to remove the
jammed paper, the paper there
mistakenly falls and goes into the
development units side.

status code.
