The transfer output time is longer than separation output
time because the residual potential is measured for the
process control. The vacuum fan continues to run for 30
minutes by a timer after the main switch is turned OFF.

When a transfer or separation leakage occurs first time, the paper feed jam indicator (loca-
tion A) stays ON on the display panel. (In case of a real paper jam, the indicator blinks, but it
does not stay ON.) This is not counted as a paper feed jam in the logging data, but is
counted as an SC in the [3-07] screen. After that, SC11 (or SC12) will be indicated on the
display panel if the leakage occurs more two times (three times total) in 100 copies.
