Duplex paper feed sensor
Two sets of photosensor (light emitters and receivers)
are provided just past the duplex feed roller, similar to
the paper feed tray arrangement.
The 2nd duplex paper feed sensor stops the duplex
paper feed motor temporarily to maintain the amount of
buckle of the paper on the registration roller. The sensor
on side 1 detects misfeeds.
The method used to control the production of flex on the
registration roller is the same as that used on the paper
feed tray.
Duplex paper end sensors
The duplex paper end sensors (one set of light emitter
and receiver) are positioned on the upper side of the
duplex paper delivery roller and the lower side of the
transport belt. Paper end is detected by the sensor.
