2.16.1 Main construction
Structural diagram
Construction
The tray motor raises and lowers the tray by the drive
chains. Paper end is detected by the photosensor. The
upper and lower limits are detected by photointerruptors.
An FRR system using a magnetic torque limiter and pa-
per feed motor are employed.
Size detection employs five photointerruptors.
The back fence for the stacked paper automatically
moves from the far side of the tray to the middle of the
tray. This facilitates loading paper on the tray.
Horizontal transport unit driven through the duplex/exit
unit.
The upper transport unit is driven by the transport motor.
Tray lock release mechanism and dehumidification
mechanism.
