• To change a multiple-digit number setting
Press

to move the cursor to the digit that you want to change.
Press #(Enter). A number replaces the cursor.

to increase or decrease the number.
Press #(Enter). The number selected on the 2nd line replaces the number
above.
Repeat the procedure to enter numbers for the other digits.
Press #(Escape) to return to the previous level.
• To select an item from a list
The current selection is marked with a large asterisk (*).

to display on the 2nd line the item to select.
With the item that you want to select displayed on the second line, press
#(Enter). The selected item is marked with an asterisk.
Press #(Escape) to return to the previous level.
Leaving the SP Mode
1. When you are finished with SP selection, press (Escape) until you see
“2.Engine”.
2. Press
"
to display “3.End”.
3. Press #(Enter) to display “Offline”.
4. Press !(On Line) to set the printer online.
NOTE: Powering the printer off and on leaves the SP mode, and returns the
printer online in normal operation mode.
