1. PCDU (☛ 3.10.1)
CAUTION: Never touch the drum surface with bare hands.
2. Remove the toner cap [A] and use it to cover the toner port [B].
3. Turn the PCU upside down and remove the lower cover [C] (! x 2, pawls x 3)
4. Press at

to release the charge roller [D], release the charge roller

the drum [E] to the front, and then remove the drum

to ensure carrier is not
attracted to the drum.
ID Sensor Initial Setting 3001-02 Initializes the ID sensor.

Image Transfer Current – Lead Edge Face 2301 03
Image Transfer Current – Image Face By-pass 2301 04
Set to the default
settings.
