"RS" reel holding carriages
–Loosen the ring nut (L).
–Use handwheel (M) in order to ad-
just the braking action of roller ,
which determines the pre-stretch-
ing of the film.
–Tighten the ring nut (L) when fin-
ished.
"PPS" type reel trucks
–Lift the handle (N) to unhook it from
the fastening pin (P).
–Pull or release the handle (N), and
then engage it into one of the pin
holes to set the selected film
stretching value (minimum/medi-
um/maximum).
For smaller or greater sensitivity
of the film stretch value, replace
the stop spring (which performs
the stretch power) with another
of the springs supplied.
To replace the spring, act as fol-
lows.
–Remove the guard (Q).
–Disconnect the spring (R), and
then replace it.
–Re-assemble the guard (Q).
–Start off machine to check correct
operation.
