ADJUSTMENT INFORMATION 2
5.1. ADJUSTMENT RECOMMENDATIONS
Before performing and type of adjustment, activate all foreseen safety devices
and evaluate the need to warn operating personnel and those in the near vicin-
ity. In particular, adequately mark the surrounding areas and prevent access to
all devices that could, if activated, cause unexpected personal safety hazards.
5.2. "STRETCH" OR "PRE-STRETCH" FILM ADJUSTMENT
This adjustment must be done in a different way according to the type of device in-
stalled.
–"FRD"-type reel carriages
–"FRD" type spool carriage for net
–"RS" reel holding carriages
–"PPS" type reel trucks
"FRD"-type reel carriages
–Act on the handwheel (A) up to
the value displayed in the index
(B).
"FRD" type spool carriage for
net
–Act on the handwheel (C-D) up to
the value displayed in the index
(E-F).
Information
To obtain correct tensioning of
the net, adjust the braking effect
so that the outfeed roller (G) has
greater braking effect respect to
the infeed roller (H); furthermore,
to avoid that net slides on the
pre-stretch rollers, do not ex-
ceed in braking them.
