–F7 Function "Carriage rise/descent": starts the vertical movement of the reel hold-
ing carriage in manual mode.
–F8 Function "Lower wraps": programs the number of wraps in the lower part of the
pallet.
–F9 Function "Table speed of rotation": sets the speed of rotation of the rotary ta-
ble.
6.4. MODE OF USE OF THE MULTI-FUNCTION SELECTOR
To select the wrapping cycle
1 -Rotate selector to one of functions (F1-F2-F3-F4).
2- Press selector.
LED starts to flash.
3- Press selector in order to enable the selected cycle.
LED stays on with a fixed light.
Identification number appears on display.
The machine is set for cycle start.
To modify the production parameters
1 -Rotate selector to one of functions (F5-F6-F8-F9).
2- Press selector.
LED starts to flash.
The set value appears on display.
3- Rotate selector in order to change the value.
4- Press selector in order to save the change.
LED stays on with a fixed light.
To move the reel holding carriage manually
1 -Rotate selector to function (F7).
2- Press selector.
LEDs start to flash.
3- Rotate selector in pulse mode in order to move carriage.
- Clockwise: the carriage rises.
- Counter-clockwise: the carriage goes down.
4 - Press selector in order to leave function.
LEDs stay on with fixed light.
To perform multiple backing wraps
–During the double cycle (function "F1") or simple cycle (function "F2"), press selec-
tor (D), for at least 2 seconds, in order to stop reel holding carriage and get the back-
ing wrap.
–For more backing wraps in the same point, press selector (D) in pulse mode (max 5).
The carriage stops after the set wraps have been completed.
To disable or enable the change of the production parameters
1 -Press selector for a short period (about 4 seconds) in order to disable or enable
the change function.
Message appears on display, which identifies the condition of the function.
- "LOC": value change disabled
- "FrE": value change enabled.
