Shutdown
Shutdown
Performing the shutdown procedure is necessary before sending the analyzer to
Roche for service or before the analyzer remains inactive for an extended time. For
this procedure, you need a special shutdown kit (not supplied with the analyzer).
NOTICE
Failure to shut down the analyzer during an extended period of inactivity may
damage the analyzer
Never attempt to turn the power off for an extended time without performing a complete
shutdown of the analyzer.
In case the analyzer is not being used for several days only, it is not recommended to
perform a complete shutdown, but to put the analyzer in Standby Mode.
r If the system will not be used for longer than a week, perform the shutdown procedure.
Store all consumables according to their specifications.
r If the system will not be used for less than a week, place the analyzer in Standby Mode
(see Standby mode (p. 32)).
