Service functions
Testing the pump
o Press NO until Test Pump? is displayed.
o Open the front cover and press YES to begin the pump test. The analyzer will
display:
---Test Pump!---
Very low, low, medium and fast speed tests are performed.
o Close the front cover and press NO to exit or to perform other service functions.
Testing the valves
o Press NO until Test Pinch Valves? is displayed.
o Press YES and this message is displayed:
Test Valve A:
YES/NO = ON/OFF
o Press YES to move the valve to the open position.
o Press NO to move the valve back to the closed position.
o Press NO once more to test the next valve.
o After Test Valve R is finished, press NO to exit or to perform other service
functions.
Testing the interface
o Press NO until Test Interface? Jump Pins 2 & 3 is displayed.
o Jump pins 2 and 3 of the serial interface. Press YES.

Be sure not to short pin 2 or pin 3 to ground, otherwise the interface may get damaged.
o The analyzer will display Interface Test. The interface test sends characters and
checks if they are received within a specific time frame.
o Check that there was no interface error.
o Press NO to exit or to perform other service functions.
Testing the amplifier
o Press NO until Test Amplifier? is displayed.
o Press YES and the analyzer will display the current amplifier values:
Na=#### K=####
*Cl/Ca/Li=####
(* Ca is not applicable)
o Press NO and the ground voltage will be displayed:
GND=0
-2500mV=-2499
