Weekly maintenance
You should clean the sample fill port, sample probe and exterior surfaces of the
analyzer once a week, and additionally as needed.
WARNING
Contact with the sample probe may result in infection
Contact with the sample probe during measurements or maintenance actions may result in
infection.
r When you wipe the sample probe, use several layers of gauze and wipe from the top
down.
r Take care not to puncture yourself.
r Wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

Starting from the READY screen, perform the following actions:
o Open the sample door.
o Clean the fill port, probe and surrounding areas with a damp cotton swab.
o If the analyzer tries to perform a measurement, NO SAMPLE will be briefly
displayed. The analyzer will return to the READY screen.
o The exterior surfaces should be wiped clean with a soft, damp cloth.

Do not use strong or abrasive cleaners, or alcohol-based cleaners on the analyzer. Use a
lightly damp cloth to avoid getting fluid inside the analyzer.
